The following changes are important but unless "Climage Change" and "Corporate Personhood" are effectively dealt with there is little chance for any other changes to become meaningful except on a very short term basis.  They often serve as a distraction for us to play with, innocently thinking we can actually change anything while those with the real control steadily move on.

Level II Changes (no particular order):

  • Voting Rights protections - these should be federal standards, not state level and any

  • Tax code changes - US personal and corporate income tax systems

    • make them fair

    • ensure that all changes protect the powerless before the powerful

    • tie rates to the economy removing special interest influence

  • Restructure of the corporate boards - to accurately include all interested parties, including labor and "the commons".  Coming . . .

  • Trade policies - change them to protect the interests of the US (labor, economy, commons, etc.).  If need be abandon NAFTA, CAFTA, WTO.  Ensure that communities in the US can do what they deem necessary democratically (i.e. decide to purchase locally when the economy is challenging.  Coming soon . . .

  • Every American should be involved when the US begins military actions (wars, policing, etc.).  Require that all citizens and corporations have proportional and active role in these actions, either financially or via service.  Additionally make sure no one gets rich off of military actions.  Coming soon . . .

  • We should not be arms suppliers.  Stop selling the military weapons or technology that we develop to other countries.   Coming soon . . .

Level III Changes (no particular order):

  • Develop real gun control at the national level.
