Corporations, Successfully Manufacturing Inequality

I found the article below, by Lynn Parramore, on the Move To Amend (MTA) website and I just had to reference it here. More and more I am finding people and organizations that are basically saying the same thing I am. I may not be lost on some fictional island after all. More important, there may be more hope for us all than I so often synically think. I guess I shouldn’t be quite so surprised, after all, I base many of my arguments on sources and opinions also used by MTA. Regardless, you have to know there was a smile on my face as I read the article, followed by an uncontrollable thumbs up.

Read the article and if you are like me, add this book to your “Want to read” list (and read it):

“The Vanishing Middle Class: Prejudice and Power in a Dual Economy Peter Temin, professor emeritus of economics at MIT, draws a portrait of the new reality in a way that is frighteningly, indelibly clear: America is not one country anymore. It is becoming two, each with vastly different resources, expectations and fates.”
