Senate is now set to publicly debate the amendment to get corporate money out of politics

Good news: The Senate just overwhelmingly voted to defeat the Republicans’ filibuster of a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United.

With the Republican filibuster broken, the Senate is now set to publicly debate the amendment — a major step forward in the fight to get corporate money out of politics. This is a critical opportunity, and we have to seize it by putting even more pressure on our senators to act. Can we count on your to spread the word and urge your friends and family to speak out for overturning Citizens United?

Could the House actually do something in the interest of WE THE PEOPLE (real people that is)?
